ForeverCookbook (“we,” “us”) helps you turn recipes into a keepsake family cookbook. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using ForeverCookbook you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email address, provided when you sign up (directly or via Google), managed through our authentication provider.
- Recipe content you create — the recipes, photos, notes, and cookbooks you add or generate, so we can save and display them to you.
- Source material you submit — video links, photos, voice recordings, or typed text you provide so we can extract a recipe from them.
- Order information — if you order a printed cookbook, the shipping and recipient details needed to fulfill it.
- Usage data — basic technical logs (e.g. errors, timing) used to keep the service running reliably.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve ForeverCookbook — specifically to:
- generate recipe cards from the source material you submit;
- store your recipes and cookbooks and show them back to you;
- process and fulfill print or gift orders;
- keep your account secure and the service working;
- respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers we share with
To run ForeverCookbook we rely on trusted third parties that process data on our behalf, including providers for: authentication, hosting and databases, and the AI services that read your submitted source material to extract a recipe and generate images. When you order a printed book we share fulfillment details with our print and payment partners. These providers may only use your data to perform their service for us.
Source material & third-party content
When you submit a link to a video you don’t own, we process it only to create a recipe for your personal use. We generate our own illustrations rather than republishing the original creator’s media, and we encourage attributing the original source.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and the app functioning. We do not use them for advertising.
Data retention & your choices
We keep your recipes and account information for as long as your account is active. You can edit or delete recipes at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
Children
ForeverCookbook is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
